“Nature finds a way.” Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park was talking about how little control man has over nature. I saw an example of that the other day at work. There are some birds that have taken up residence, INSIDE the building. They tunneled through the stucco exterior and covered out a home for themselves. They are high on an exterior wall and I see them everyday.

A few days ago, man intervened. I believe it was members of a ground crew that sprayed expandable foam into the hole in an effort to rid the building of its intruders. They left the lid on the gray lid on the ground when they were finished. That’s what caught my attention to look up.

Well the adult birds were visibly upset and made a lot of calls out to the world. There home was gone, buried in an avalanche of foam. I don’t know of the presence of any baby birds as the nest is too high for me to see. If they were in there when the foam was applied, they probably didn’t make it. Over the course of a short period of time, not even 2 days, the hole was open again. Nature had found a way.

In life when you feel that others are filling your home with foam, let nature be your permission giver of persistence and determination. Remember that Today’s Habits Influence Success.
